The story of this movie starts with a seemingly random sniper attack in Pittsburgh, where five people have been killed in broad daylight. All the evidence points to an ex-military sniper named James Barr, who is swiftly arrested. while interrogating him, he only offers one statement”Get Jack Richer”

Jack Reacher( Played By Tom Cruise), a former Military Police Officer lives in a nomadic lifestyle. When he hears that Barr is arrested, Reacher comes to Pittsburgh, not to clear his name but to bury him. Reacher believes that Barr is the reason behind this attack because of his past incident where he killed four people and escaped. But the truth is not what Reacher thinks, while investigating the case he finds much evidence and a complex conspiracy that suggests Barr may be innocent.
